English Language Challendges

Imagen
Hello again, today I come to talk about my challenges in the English language. At the beginning the classes were easy for me, but when it was time to do tests or have a conversation with someone it was complicated, when I arrived at the university I started from the most basic level, the teacher taught us from the beginning, the numbers, the tenses, etc. I remembered again how to use some words, learn to pronounce others and several activities in the first semester. Then the blogs were implemented, I find that they are good to be able to improve the way we express ourselves, but the topics were not very catchy so in the end I found it difficult to know what to talk about. I usually speak English alone when I'm in my room, it's weird but I try to implement it by talking to myself Hehe while I'm studying or tidying up, I also listen to songs and try to translate them myself, it's more complicated yes. Personally I feel that I need to improve the way I communicate, a

Time Travel to the Future

Imagen
Hello again, today I'm here to tell you about a trip I would take to the future... This would be to the moment I travel to another country (if it happens), to see what the experience would be like, if it's as good as I've always seen in the movies and at what stage of my life it would happen. I think I've already finished my degree and will be working or something... or I'll just be travelling the world. It could be in my 30s or younger if I achieve what I set out to do. If the moment I travel I like it or I don't like it, I wouldn't stay because I would like to live the stage of my life before I get to that point, it's like the movie if I were thirty, Jenna travelled to the future, but I didn't know how she got there and everything that led up to her being the way she was, so no. I'm not. Another part of my life that I would like to travel to is when I am old, to see what I have done and how I feel, or rather what I have achieved in my life

Changes to my study programme

Imagen
Hello, I am currently studying social work and I am in my second year. The course lasts 10 semesters and has subjects that complement the formation of what we will be in the future, so I don't think there should be changes, although I still don't know what the others are about but for the moment nothing. There are five subjects with a duration of an hour and a half and as it is online, I find that it is fine, as spending more than 2 hours glued to the computer becomes tedious plus what one studies or reads after class is more tiring. As everything is online because of the pandemic, technology is very busy and some people only have one computer at home and the university helps those who need it with computers and internet chips, but these are not very good so they could be changed to ones that have more internet access. It would be possible to make a more dynamic class, so that the hour and a half class doesn't take so long, where you can talk about a subject, but it wou

My Future Job

Imagen
I’m studying social work, I am in my second year, and it has been complicated because everything is online, but when I finish my degree, I want to focus on looking for a job in this area. My future job could be health care social work, helping people in a variety of health care settings, such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, specialty clinics such as family planning centres, hospices, or assisted living facilities. It would be nice to be a more open-air caregiver than in centres where people are locked up, but it is not very common, if I can help both children, youth, and adults, although I like children more, so I may be more inclined for them. At the same time, I would like to do master’s degree to complement my studies with something else, but I would also like to study graphic design, since I always liked drawing, it is something totally different, but it is something I have in mind. I think that what you earn is so important to us when you do something you like, but at the sa

My Hobby: Dance

Imagen
I started dancing when I was 7 years old, my mother put me in a folk group in which my brother participated years ago and I take advantage of the moment to join, since I liked to dance. It was fun to go, at first it was difficult for me to make friends, but after a while I was able to find my group in common, we went to traditional encounters where the art of dances from Chile and the world was celebrated, and when I was 14 years old, I spent to the intermediate group, since it is divided between infantile and intermediate. Here I learned to dance styles from other countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Peru, etc. We had presentations so we prepared ourselves so that everything went well and without errors, they invited us to a festival in Valdivia to which we went, and it was like a two-week mini tour that we had to present ourselves for tourists. With the pandemic issue, we have not been able to rehearse, since I live far from where the practices are and the contact is direct, it

My Favorite Serie: Itaewon Class

Imagen
Itaewon Class is a series about how an ex-convict and his friends of him try to fulfil their dream of opening a restaurant in the Itaewon neighbourhood in Seoul, Korea. I found this series on Netflix when I was looking for something to watch, I was struck by the plot and trailer that they always show. Since I saw it, I couldn't stop watching it, it was just beginning so I had to wait every so often for the episodes to air. I watched the chapters every day, since I couldn't stop watching the series, in addition to the songs that each episode contained were very good.  From the first chapter, I was stuck in the plot, since the series shows hope to be able to fulfil objectives, the friendship that can be built, also talks about racism and the help to people that a simple person can contribute to society. I watched the series when taking a break from college, as the episodes last more than an hour, like any k-drama.

The best holidays ever

Imagen
Today I'm here to tell you about the best holidays with my friends. In 2018, I went on holiday to Bariloche, Argentina with my friends, we spent 2 weeks there. We travelled by plane to Puerto Montt and then crossed the border by bus, it took us a long time because one of my friends lost his ID card and had to get a temporary one. We did sports activities, we jumped on a zip line, drove ATVs and crashed, but I didn't suffer any injuries. We went to discos and to the central square which was like a fairy tale as it was Christmas time. Then we went back to Valdivia and stayed for 3 more days, went to the river, went to the Kunstmann brewery, and toured the city. It was the best trip because I had a lot of fun and did things I don't usually do, plus we had the experience of living day and night for 2 weeks with my friends, so we got to know each other better.
